Douglas Currie

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Douglas William Currie, Friday, March 7, 2025, in his 59th year. Doug passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, after a courageous but brief battle with cancer. 

Beloved spouse and best friend of Heather Roscoe. Proud father of Jill and Holly Neale. He will be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Lily Neale, and missed by his brother Derek Currie. Predeceased by his parents John and Linda Currie. 

He leaves behind many friends and his work family at Emmerson Packaging. His dedication and work ethic were second to none during his long career. Doug will be remembered for his passion for golfing, fishing, video games and watching his favorite sports teams. His quick wit, sense of humor, kindness and compassion will be sorely missed. 

In keeping with Dougs wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
