Dorothy (Barker) Kimmett

Passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Predeceased by her husband Clarence. Dorothy leaves behind her children Wayne and Mary Ellen. Her grandchildren Allen, Patrick, Ryan and Rene along with their families, including her great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her in laws Shirley (George McGarvey) and Maurice (Linda) and their families.

Dorothy lived most of her life on her family farm. She enjoyed gardening, the country life and time with family and friends. For many years Dorothy drove school bus and along with Clarence delivered rural route mail.

For the past ten years Dorothy called the Friendly Manor her home. Her family would like to express their appreciation to the staff for the compassionate care she received while she was with them.

Dorothy will be remembered as a kind, loving person.

At the family’s request arrangements have been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Services. A celebration of life for both Clarence and Dorothy will be arranged at a later date.
