Donna Thompson Obituary

In her 77th year, Donna Edith Thompson (nee Pringle) of Deseronto passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on January 25, 2020.

Donna was a loving wife for 55 years to Garnet and devoted mother to Gary (Heather) and Bob.

She was dearly loved and a special nanny to her grandchildren Bryan (Jacquelyn), Stephanie, Rachel (Luke), Krystal (Dalton), Katelyn and Justin.

Donna will be greatly missed by her sisters Margaret (Don) Herrington, Shirley (late George) VanAlstyne, Sharon (late Gary) Whitton, Louise (Dale) Claus, Cathy Lee (Pete) and Fran (Doug) Loney. She will be fondly remembered by her brother-in-law John (Nancy) and sister-in-laws Elaine (Calvin) Loney and Susie.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, Lillian and Don Pringle and sister Betty (Alfie Green).

She was a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews and a special friend to Cathie Vick.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chris Sosnowski for his compassionate care.

As per Donna’s wishes there will be no funeral service or memorial. Cremation has taken place.
