Donna (Spencer) Maschke

Our hearts are broken, as our family has sustained yet another unexpected loss, just months after losing Dad. She fought a hard battle with cancer, including a side battle with Covid, our dear mother; Donna Spencer Maschke has passed away in hospital on Monday, November 7, 2022. We are all filled with shock, grief, and a whole range of emotions. 

Many folks remember her from years ago, as the owner of “Fred” the talking (swearing) Macaw at her pet store of many years; Donna’s Pet Shop, in the Napanee Mall. Others might remember her as a patient, loving and protective mom of 4 boys (and their friends), who always kept things exciting around the household. Thanks for the memories Mom "Nana".  Your sons Jamie, Jason (Jennifer), Derek (Tracy), Dustin (Angela), grandchildren Brandi, Austin, Teegan, Tristan, Cole, Ally and the twins Landon and Brayden. She will be missed by her sister Judy and her brother Fred. Pre- deceased by her parents Roland & Velma Spencer, her brothers Rolly and Mark. Your family and friends will miss you very much! ❤️

We can see her at heavens gate, right now having a few choice words for the gate-keeper when she’s told she will have to put out her cigarette before coming in. Saint Peter is likely grabbing her an ashtray as we speak (she’d laugh at that joke).
 

Cremation for Mom has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. We plan to Celebration her Life at a later date. See you down the road, if we don’t see little reminders of you in the meantime. Online memories and condolences can be shared at www.milestonecremation.ca
