Donald Bristol

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Don at Kingston Health Science Centre due to heart failure. He leaves behind his loving wife Betty and son John. Don was born in Belleville but raised in Madoc where he and his family enjoyed many summers at the family cottage on Moria Lake. Don was a longtime employee of Sears. He worked at Home Depot before retiring. He was a proud card carrying Liberal and campaigned in many Federal and Provincial elections. Don was a fourth generation Oddfellow. He belonged to many service organizations. His greatest joy was his nine-year term on Kingston council, representing Cataraqui ward. A special thanks to cousin Bonnie Bristol, a tower of strength to Betty and John. Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. As to per Don’s wishes there will be no service.When we grieve, angels are always near us to whisper that our loved ones are safely in the hands of God.
