Don Smithers

Donald "Don" Edward Smithers - Suddenly, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Loving husband of Sharon (nee McKeown) and son-in-law of Camille McKeown. Pre-deceased by his parents Charles & Dorothy Smithers, his son Leslie Smithers, daughter in-law Cara, father-in-law Leslie McKeown, brother-in-law Bill and his brother Chucky. Don's sense of humour and love for his family will be sadly missed by his sisters Debbie, Kim and brother George (June) Kelly. His memory will always be cherished and remembered by his chosen daughter Audrey Hamilton-Hugh and grandson Theo Hugh. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Val (Ivan) Dupont and Joannie (Charlie) Sweet, brother-in-law Danny, along with his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services.

The family will Celebrate Don's Life at Grace United Church, 150 Robert St. Napanee on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00am. An interment of his ashes will follow at the Riverview Cemetery.
