David “Larry” Huff

Larry passed peacefully surrouned by family after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson's disease at the age of 87 years.  “Chief” was a devoted husband, loving father and Grampy, brother, uncle, and a loyal friend to many in the County and on Grindstone Lake.  Larry devoted over 20 years to volunteer firefighting both in PEC and Cornwall areas.  He will be greatly missed by his wife Penny, his son Shaun, daughters Deborah, Lisa (Chad) and Amie (John), his many nieces and nephews, and his grandchildren Carson, Claire, Brady and June.  Larry was a proud big brother to Tom Huff (Mary Ann; both predeceased) and is survived by his adoring sister Betsy Cole (Richard; predeceased). 

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial services.  Friends and family will be invited to a casual Celebration of Life at a later date. If desired, memorial donations can be made in Larry’s memory to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Online condolences, photos and memories can be shared at www.milestonecremation.ca.
