David Simpson Obituary

David Bradley Simpson, 70, of Croydon Ontario, passed away quietly Monday March 30th at Kingston General Hospital. Barb Swanson the love of his life, and daughter Lyndsie Apperley, were by his side holding his hands. David was born in the city of Belleville, January 22nd 1950. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Gladys Simpson and brother Douglas Simpson. David leaves behind his Daughter Lyndsie and husband Jon; son David and wife Susan with their children Alexis, Tyler and James. He is survived by sisters Joan and husband Murray Jacklin, Nancy and husband Chauncey Soderberg as well as his many nieces and nephews. Special mention to the many friends in the community that will miss the good times ‘chewing the fat” and “jamming” together. His greatest hobbies were his love of cars, trucks and endless story telling. His entire career was devoted to the automotive industry. David's everlasting passion was being together with his partner Barb, enjoying their beautiful cottage on the Salmon river, watching the world go by. A celebration of life for David will take place at a later date.
