Cheryl Lynn (Welbanks) Mowbray

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in her 67th year.

Loving wife to Delbert Mowbray. Loving Mother to Heather (Kirk), Jackie (Andy), Jennifer (Ben) and Melissa (Lee). Special Nanny to Brian (Laura), Brandon, Miranda (Victoria), Rachel, Halle, Owen, Rhyder and Reyna. Great Nanny to baby girl due in September.

Predeceased by her parents Hilliard and Mary Welbanks. Always remembered by her siblings Patty, Terry (Illa), Doug (Jayne), Nancy (Mark), Lori (Donny), Rick (Erin) and special twin brother Charles (Heather).

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as sister-in-law Elaine (Peter) and brother-in-law Ken (Rose).

Cheryl was a woman who loved everyone so fiercely and made friends wherever she went. She will be deeply missed and always cherished by those who loved her.

Special thank you to the staff on Kidd 3 and Connel 9 at KGH, as well as Providence Care for their exceptional care in her final weeks. Also, to Jenny her PSW for all her loving care.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
