With heavy hearts, the family of Alice Carey announces her passing on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at the age of 82. Cherished mother of Marilyn (Joe Whalen), Paul (Lorie), Donna McCracken (Dan McCracken), Brian, Cheryl (Kevin Toner), David, Gene and Richard. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Christina (Lissa), Stephanie (Tim), Cory, Jessica (Ben), Matthew (Katherine), Justin (Sam), Ashley, Adam (Meagan), Brandon, Tyler, Liam, Megan and Hunter. Proud great-grandmother of Riley and Amelia. Dear daughter of the late Patrick Dowling and late Theresa Breen. Alice is survived by her sister Irene Craig (late Leo) and predeceased by sisters Marie Baldwin, Frances Leveck, Theresa Beaton and Edna Carey and by brothers Leo Dowling and Hugh Dowling.

In honour of Alice’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family celebration of life and burial ceremony at Annunciation Church (Enterprise) will follow her cremation.

Alice cherished her family above all else, and she will be so greatly missed.
