Beverlee Tripp Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home in the County at the age of 70 with her beloved family & Dr. Le Blanc by her side, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Beloved wife & best friend for over 33 years of Bob Heighton. Dearly loved mother to Jamie Lee Jonah (Joshua) and Ashley Tripp. Cherished grandmother of Jesse (Janet), Alyxandra, Finnegan & Tripp. Dear sister to Paul Kerwin. Predeceased by her first husband Larry Tripp and parents Arley & Ross Kerwin. Survived by in-laws Karen Miller, Sandy Rushlow (Mark), Janet Kosticin and many nieces & nephews. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family & friends.

Bev was born in Scarborough, ON where she lived until 1971 when her parents moved them to Prince Edward County. She was a stay at home mom before she went back to school where she graduated with honours from Loyalist College as a Registed Nurse. Here she worked in the community for 30 years with All-Care Health Services & VON before taking early retirement.

She was a woman of many words who could hold her own and didn’t back down from a heated discussion. She loved crosswords & jeopardy and over the years she loved & cared for a plethora of fur babies. She enjoyed trailer life & fishing in the summer on East Lake, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events & country music concerts.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sarah Le Blanc, nurse practitioner Brad Gunn & nurses Jennifer Hall & Sherry Lyons for their wonderful in home care. Bev wanted to be home and they made it possible. Thank you’s are also extended to family doctor Dr. Graham Burke, Dr. Chooback & the oncology team at BGH.

Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Milestone Cremation Service, Napanee. A Celebration of Beverlee’s Life will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at the Masonic Hall, 132 Foster Ave, Belleville.
