Barbara (Gettins) Royle

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Quinte on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the age of 78. Barbara will be forever missed by her devoted husband Bill “Muggs” Royle of 62 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Kim Colton (Doug) of Belleville and Ross Royle of Ameliasburgh. Adored nanny to Jenna (David), Morgan, Wyatt, Nikki (Matthew) and great nanny Barb to Dax and Bohdan. Beloved sister of Judy McMath of British Columbia and Roy Gettins of Quinte West. Barb will be forever missed by her bonus family Patricia Beebe-Loft (Kerry), Caley and Curtis. Lovingly remembered by her best friend and partner in crime Anne Grabowski (Bill). Predeceased by her parents Norman and Ruby Gettins as well as her siblings Norma Morton (late Hugh) and Rusty Gettins. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes Cremation has been performed and there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations made in Barbara’s  memory made to Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family. The care she received by the staff  was above and beyond and we will truly be forever grateful.
