Barbara Bennett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Darlene Bennett on February 8, 2025, at age of 65, in Lennox & Addington County General Hospital. “Dar” was born on July 20, 1959 in Halifax, NS.
Known for her generous and kind spirit, she left an impact on everyone she met including those she loved dearly and held close to her heart. Dar loved visiting family and friends, volunteering, and travelling, completing bucket list dreams of visiting Australia, Costa Rica and most recently, Newfoundland. Proudly committed the last 20 years of her career for Cooperators as an insurance advisor.
Preceded in joining the Lord: father, Michael and son, Christopher.
Survived by her children Stacey, Scott and Marie and their father Jim; grandchildren Nathan, Grace, Storia, and Augustus; mother Evelyn; siblings Jamie, Rick, Grant, Donnie, Belinda, and Lynn; and several loving nephews and nieces.
Forever missed by many devoted friends and family it brings comfort and peace knowing she is watching over all of us and no longer suffering or in pain after a courageous battle with cancer.
As per her final wishes, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 20, 2025, at Royal Canadian Legion 734 Montreal St. Kingston, where all are welcome and donations to Canadian Cancer Society and flowers will be received with gratitude.
