Alexander Cherneskie

Passed away peacefully and comfortably on September 19, 2024 at Georgian Bay Hospital in his 66th year, in the loving presence of his extended family from Waypoint Centre in Penetanguishene, Ontario where he has resided for the past 13 ½ years. Formally of Deseronto, Ontario.

Much loved son of the late Nick and Alberta Cherneskie.

Survived by his siblings Nick (Carol) Cherneskie , John Cherneskie , Lena (John) Cadieux and Helen Cherneskie. Also survived by his children Alex and Suanne. Much loved Grandfather of Hayden and Alexis. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Very special and much loved Uncle to Christopher Cherneskie.

Alex will forever be remembered for his kind heart, a willingness to help those in need and his infectious smile.

His interests included the Blue Jays and the Montreal Canadians. Alex very much enjoyed country music, singing and dancing.

Sincere appreciation goes to the Waypoint staff for the excellent care and support he has received there through the years, which will never be forgotten.
