W. Rodney Dafoe

William Rodney Dafoe, born December 24, 1949 in Belleville.   Son of Warrant Officer 2/Staff Sergeant William Ralph Dafoe and Florence Marjorie Dafoe (Newton).   Loving and loved Brother of Phyllis (Marshall), Lorraine, Cheryl - deceased(Kirk-also deceased) and Bryon Dafoe (Kelly).  Loving Father to Sherry, Craig and Chris. Loving grandfather to all of his grandchildren -- Sherry's children, Craig and Martha's child.   Loving uncle to Andrea, Robin, Zach, Rob, Jim, Bob, Dana, Butch and Cissy. --and many more. Loving "saver" to Emma -- who made his eyes light up! Also Loving uncle, cousin, nephew, great uncle. Rod is loved by "too numerous to mention" friends,---affectionately known as "Gramps" to one and all.   He was and always will be an "Oldsmobile fan, a "CCR" fan, an obsessive "guitar fan" --- a lover of laughter, a lover of music, a lover of the revving of an Olds engine!   He believed in the goodness of people and always gave everyone a second chance to prove themselves worthy.  You are gone way too soon.  We will always miss your logical and humorous approach to life Rod.   We miss you and your smile ----there is a void here now.  Until we all meet again, brother of ours.  We love you!
