Vera Dawson Obituary

Passed away peacefully in her 103rd year on Monday, February 26, 2018. Vera was predeceased by her husband, Reg (1997). Vera was a loving mother to Barbara Burley (Gord) and Arthur (Elizabeth). Grandmother to 4 grandsons – Darren & David Burley and Paul & Steve Dawson, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Vera was predeceased by her 8 siblings – Edra, Elma, George, Muriel, Inos, Wallace, Jean and Almon McKnight. She is survived by her sister in-law, Jean McKnight. Vera was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters in-law – Don & Nora Dawson, and Kal & Flossie Kincade. Vera was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mom’s life was filled with family, friends, travel, euchre and MUSIC & DANCE! Our family is so very grateful for the care she received from Dr. Reynolds and the staff at the Riverine and the John M. Parrott Centre. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family will celebrate her life with a private family gathering.
