Passed away on June 1, 2019 in her 83rd year. Mother to Linda Shields, Rob Shields (Karalyn), Debra, Greg Gallagher, Cathy McQuaig (Randy), Charles, Kimberly, Shelley, Jeff Shields (Kathy) and Denise Burris (Dale). Predeceased by son, Kirk Kenneth James Shields and parents, Iva and Mark Laforge. Beloved grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. As per her wishes, there will be a private graveside service. A special thanks to all the staff at the Village Green Nursing Home for the excellent care she received during her stay.
