John Wilkes

John William Wilkes - passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home in Campbellford. Cherished husband of 34 years to Marg. Proud father of Rob (Eva) of Oakville, Shawn (Debra) of Newmarket, Matt (Colleen) of Toronto and Jeff (Crystal) of Calgary. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Adam, Megan, Ryan and Phoenix. Pre-deceased by his grandson Cameron (2010) and his brother Bob (1999). Beloved son of the late John & Greta Wilkes. John will be sadly missed by his brothers Bruce (Lis) Wilkes, Daryl (Debbie) Wilkes and Rod Green. Survived by his sister-in-law Dianne Wilkes. He will be fondly remembered by Cathy Aldred, his close friends John Spencer, Fred Phillips, Muncey Thompson, his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends including his affectionate furry buddies at home Molson, Pokie & Fluff.

Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee. A Celebration of Life for John will take place in the Vimy Room of the Campbellford Legion, 34 Bridge St. West, Campbellford on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 1-4pm. Friends desiring may contribute in his memory to the Bridge Hospice Warkworth or the VON Adult Day Program Campbellford with appreciation.
