Bonnie Sharlene (Carmichael) Bastian

Passed away after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis on December 18, 2018 at Belleville General Hospital at the age of 68 with her son Shawn Moore and daughter Lois Brown at her side.  Predeceased by her partner of more than 25 years, John Patrick Murphy.  Daughter of the late Leonard and Winnifred Carmichael.  Loving Grandma of Ever, Cooper, Echo, Gemini, Stephanie and Amanda.  Dear mother in-law of Sara and Vince.  Sister of Marlene Skinner (Glenn), Melanie Lummiss (the late Brian), Michael Carmichael, Sharon Henderson (George), Dennis Carmichael (Nancy) and the late Rod Carmichael and sister in-law of Sharon Needham (Bert), Joanne Murphy and Patrick Murphy.  Step Mother of Joanna Bunnett, Jason Bastian and Jeff Bastian. In keeping with Bonnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Banquet Centre (1 Alhambra Square, Belleville) from 2-5 p.m. on January 19, 2019.  Bonnie will be interred along side Murph at the Belleville Cemetery.  If you wish to make a donation in memory of Bonnie, please consider the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.  Please feel free to share your memories of Bonnie online at www.milestonecremation.ca
