Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Village Green Long-Term Care Home on Monday, July 8, 2019. Predeceased by her late husband Allan (1990). Beloved mother of Doug Hunter (Sarah) of Napanee, Todd Hunter (Bev) of Belleville and Angela Weese (Scott) of Tamworth. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren; Christina, Tabitha, Clint, Cory, Amanda, Lisa, Lyndsay, Holden, Eva and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved grandson Curtis.
Betty will also be greatly missed by her surviving siblings; Claire Hughes (the late Eugene) of Napanee, Jack LaRone of Amherstview, and Mary Ellen Clancy (the late Keith) of Kingston. Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Savage, Della McEwen, Marguerite Damon, Anita Asselstine and Garry LaRone, and also by her parents Leo & Loretta LaRone. Betty will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place with Milestone Cremation Services, Napanee.
The family will receive friends at the Roblin Wesleyan Church, 3100 County Rd. 41 Roblin, on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10-11am. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00am.
