“It is with profound sadness I announce that my dear husband, Alex Hill has passed away. We enjoyed 53 years of marriage. Son of the late Gerald and Vera Hill, son-in-law of the late Albert & Mae Holmes. Survived by his 3 sisters; Sheila, Sharon & Carolyn. Predeceased by his brothers; Harold, Harry & Bruce.

Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Alex worked many years at the Trentonian Newspaper, also at Sovereign Textiles and Carquest. Alex will be sadly missed by his spiritual brothers and sisters from our Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. As per Alex’s request there will be no funeral service or memorial. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex’s memory can be made to the Quinte Humane Society.” - His loving wife, Gloria Hill.
